Wow.
I saw them play at the Pub (later the Hub) at UCSB on this tour.  I pushed my way to the front and then sat onstage for most of the show.  Beat Happening opened and Calvin Johnson’s face was wrapped up because some kid threw an ashtray and broke his nose the night before.
